Creative Visioning at the Symposium!
•August 30, 2010 • Leave a CommentThe TYPS team is excited to have a videographer, graphic recorder, and photographer at the event this Thursday! Come and see the work of the talented young persons right here in our city!
Reilly Dow, the graphic recorder will be supporting YOU in expressing your vision for your city by illustrating your thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Please visit the graphics table during the first half of the event (5:30pm-7:00pm) to be part of the vision. As a graphic recorder, Reilly’s work with groups and organizations helps them share complex ideas more easily and reach new levels of understanding. She uses visuals to weave concepts together as she listens in on important conversations. See examples of her work at www.pinkfish.ca.
Michael Lehan is a freelance multimedia journalist whose work has appeared on CBC.ca and on VisionTV. Michael will be supporting us in facilitating your vision for the city on camera! Through a ‘Speakers Corner’ style format, your ideas and recommendations for the new mayor of Toronto will be compiled into a short video to showcase youth priorities. Please visit his booth for an opportunity to shape the youth vision for your city! For a look at Michael’s talents and services, please go to www.lehan.ca.
Tali Spivak will be our photographer for the event. She will be documenting the whole event from the marketplace to the debate. If you would like photos from the event, please contact the TYPS team at typsinfo@gmail.com in order to connect with the photographer. Don’t forget to smile!
The marketplace component starts at 5:30pm and you will have a more intimate opportunity to approach the mayoral candidates. The discussion/debate will start at 7:00pm and end at 8:30pm.
